Chart notes
BARON OF THE NILE went to the front from two wide to the final turn then edged away to a clear lead going into the stretch and held on. UNCLE REG raced in the middle of the pack from two wide down the backstretch then moved up from three wide around the final turn and made a late rally but missed. DUSTIN THE DIAMOND was unhurried through the final turn while saving ground then moved out to two wide in the stretch showing late interest. INCHHIGHATAHUNDRED raced in the middle of the pack from three wide down the backstretch then made a mild bid from four wide around the final turn to improve position. THREE GOLD PIECES trailed the field through the final turn and passed tiring rivals. RED IDOL was off a step slow, rushed up to co-lead from the inside to the final turn, faded around the turn and was empty in the stretch. CASTILLE stalked the pace from three wide to the middle of the final turn but lacked the late response.
