Chart notes
AUSTONIAN checked near the half mile pole, altered out, made a four wide bid from the outside in the stretch and just got up under all out pressure. GUCCI BOY was hard sent near the rail, vied for the early lead, dug in and missed in a game effort. AMAZING WOO stalked the pace, waited for racing room near the quarter pole to the three sixteenths pole, raced near the rail in the drive and finished gamely to the wire. INSISTING tracked the early leader, dueled two deep from the outside through the far turn and weakened the final eighth of a mile. SMOKIN BOW was bumped, forced out near the half mile pole and raced even with no closing run. ALLEGRINI dropped back early and failed to respond. WALT WHITMAN (IRE) checked sharply soon after the break, saved ground and never threatened.
