Chart notes

BOURBON AND ICE raced in the six path near mid pack down the backstretch, dropped into the three path entering the turn, split rivals three wide past the quarter pole, rallied determinedly under left handed urging in the six path through the stretch and was along in time. LAND MARK DEAL unhurried early, closed willingly in the four path through deep stretch and finished second best. MARKHAMIAN was hustled to a clear lead soon after the start, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. PERFECT WAGER trailed down the backstretch and through the turn and found his best stride late in the five path. FIRST CITIZEN raced five wide down the backstretch, swung out to the middle of the racetrack entering the stretch then failed to respond. LOCK ON failed to menace. UNCLEJACKOMO was no threat. THE LAST FACT chased the pace along the inside into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. UPTOWN GUY chased the early pace two wide and was through after a half. PINBALLER had brief speed.
