Chart notes
FLOWER MOUND unhurried early, closed rapidly three then five wide through the turn and upper stretch, made the lead near the furlong marker and drew clear under right handed urging. KINGDOM QUEEN with the second flight two wide, rallied three wide through upper stretch to make the lead near the three sixteenths pole then was no match for the winner in the late stages while clearly second best. SHEISTHEHERO chased the early pace near the inside, dropped back on the turn, shifted out to the six path then came on again late. HARTFUL HOPE saved ground early, offered a mild bid two wide in upper stretch then leveled off. A KISS FOR KHOZAN pressed the pace to wide, was carried out to the six path on the turn then weakened in the stretch. SPARKLING JEWEL offered a mild bid along the inside into the stretch then failed to sustain bid. SHARP AZ CAN BE rushed to the lead soon after the start, set the pace past the quarter pole, drifted to the five path then was used up.
