AIN'T BROKE settled off the early pace then tracked the leader on the outside, ranged up outside the pacesetter nearing the nine-sixteenths pole, took over outside the half-mile pole, controlled the action in the three path on the turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, extended the advantage under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop inside the furlong marker, drifted out near the sixteenth-pole and held under steady urging. TOUGH STREET came inward at the start, settled at the rear of the field, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under the crop, pursued the winner on the outside into the final sixteenth, gained on that foe late but missed while well clear for second. WILLOW BEND was coaxed to the front, moved in leaving the chute, lost the advantage outside the half-mile pole, dropped back leaving the backstretch, chased inside on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
