Chart notes
UNCLE BERLEY tracked in the three path and between horses, waited behind traffic in the four to five path in upper stretch, shifted inwardly in the final furlong, bid two wide and between horses in the final sixteenth and edged past. OVER CALENDARED tracked from the five path, crept closer while taking aim outside of the leader and from the six path entering the lane, sustained a bid while hanging on his left lead through the lane, but was outkicked by an inner rival and re-gained place late. MOR JAZZ press the leader from the four path, forged an advantage before moving out to the five path entering the lane, held sway from close pursuers on both sides through midstretch, dug in between bidders at the sixteenth pole but yielded late. SMOOTHDINI chased along the inside, sustained pursuit through the lane, vied for show late but missed. COASTAL DEFENSE lacked speed in the two path, chased in the four to two path in upper stretch and failed to menace. SENDEMDOWNTHEROAD brushed with an outer foe before lightly grazing with an inner rival at the start, showed the way in the three to two path into the turn, got headed by an outer presser approaching the lane, leaned out to the four path while trying to fight on passing the three sixteenths pole, but weakened between rivals shortly after.
