Chart notes
KING D'ORO was nicely rated near the inside not far off the top embattled trio, waited briefly inside near the quarter pole then shifted four wide leaving the turn, responded gamely under a drive in upper stretch, roused forward to take over the lead past the eighth pole and finished going away. MISTER ABARRIO was well placed tracking the top trio three wide, moved up to loom a threat near the quarter pole, took over the lead upper stretch then got overtaken by the winner past the furlong marker. DISATTACHED taken in hand and sat off the early pace, let out a notch and circled up four deep near the quarter pole, sustained bid into stretch run and cleared a share. STROKE OF MIDNIGHT vied for the lead along the inside around the first turn, continued to duel around the far turn, could not keep pace in upper stretch and steadily weakened. PAPA YO dueled between foes around the first turn, continued near equal terms around the final turn then tired in the drive. SWASHBUCKLE vied three deep for the lead in the opening quarter, continued near equal footing into the far turn then came up empty turning for home.
