WAR MULE broke alertly, was forwardly placed backstretch along the inside, idled turn while continuing to save ground and lose some position, rebid rail into stretch, late duel, gained nod. BOTE in the second flight early outside, advanced into a striking position while four wide through the turn, engaged the winner from the outside past the furlong marker, dueled to the wire with that one, missed. CASTLE GAP asked away from the gate, fell back along the inside after a quarter, moved out, encountered some traffic late in the turn, continued to be covered up through upper stretch, moved out late but could do little with the top pair. MY RUSSIAN forwardly placed three wide, in a bit tight between rivals and inside the runner up turning for home, remained in a forward position but lacked a closing punch when clear late. COWBOYCENTS bothered to be off a beat slow, raced in traffic midpack up the backstretch, three to five wide through the turn, went evenly through the lane. HESA SUPER STARR lacked speed outside early, angled four to five wide late in the turn, improved position slightly in the drive without posing a serious threat. BIG COUNTRY BOY broke in good order, gradually cleared by late backstretch off the rail, continued to show the way turn, caved in from between the top two after allowed the winner the rail upper stretch. SAVED went evenly while racing three wide. TOP OF THE WORLD off a step slow, trailed most of the way, picked off a couple of tiring rivals. BATTLEOFTHERAVINE broke in and was never a threat. CASH APP MIKE off step slow, moved up a bit to race in mid pack early inside, stopped.
