Chart notes
FENTON FOREVER set the pace well off the inside, repelled a challenge on the turn and drew off under moderate pressure. REELIN N DEALIN lacked speed inside, angled out on the turn and closed well too late. BALLAD OF WARRIOR stalked the pacesetter wide, engaged the leader on the turn then weakened in the stretch. COOL MILLION broke slowest and steadied early, rushed up inside then flattened out. GOOD FRIDAY MAN trailed early then passed rivals without menacing. L GOLDEN BOY raced close up initial quarter mile then gave way. SAMS AFTER PARTY was urged just off the pace in the two path then gave way on the turn. DR. LOU chased wide and stopped abruptly losing contact with his field.
