POP D'ORO brushed with horse to his inside at the start, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late to pull clear. BIG JACK trailed the field on the outside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. ANNIE'S BOY stumbled and bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, recovered to duel up the backstretch, came around the turn in three path, led in upper stretch and weakened late. FIRST CALL bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to duel from the rail up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the turn and faded in the final furlong. BIYOMBO bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, pressed the pace between horses early, navigated the turn from the two path and tired in the stretch. LOBDELL LAKE bumped with the horses to both sides at the break, raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, came around the bend in the four path and made no bid. PHOENICIAN GHOST bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, raced at the back of the pack on the rail through the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn and was empty in the stretch.
