SWAMP QUEEN brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, pursued from midpack along the inside, crept closer in teh three path and between horses turning for home, shifted out to the four to five path in upper stretch, rallied to attempt a late bid but was kept at bay. THUNDERING DESIRE pressed the leader from the four to three path around the first turn, gained an advantage with nine sixteenths to go, showed the way in the two path around the far turn, got collared by an outer bidder entering the lane, gave way yet saved show late. CLASSIC EMBRACE was wrangled back early on to settle well back along the inside, moved between horses down the backstretch, altered course around a faltering foe into the far turn, moved down to the three path into the lane and ran on to miss show. PERFECT DIXIE LADY pursued from midpack two wide, then along the inside around the far turn, chased while hanging on her left lead in upper stretch and lacked a bid. MO VISTA laid off of the pace two wide, improved inside of rivals around the far turn, altered course outwardly in midstretch and stayed on while one paced. INSTASPEED checked early on as an outer rival got rank, settled off of the pace along the inside, moved out to the three path entering the backstretch, checked outwardly to maneuver around a faltering foe at the three furlong pole, then improved inside of rivals in the final furlong. GRAND EMPRESS stalked in the three to two path around the first turn, got floated out by an inner foe at the half mile pole, chased the clear leader from the four path around the far turn, then weakened while shifting out in upper stretch. GUILLOTINE broke slowly, raced at the rear in the two to five path and failed to factor. LOVE IN THE DARK showed the way in the three to two path around the first turn, got headed by an outer presser with nine sixteenths to go, drifted out while chasing leaving the half mile pole, then faltered between horses entering the far turn. VANNA G brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, got rank early, bolted to the outer rail around the first turn, lagged behind thereafter and showed little.
