Chart notes
SPACE LAUNCH saved ground in range, angled four wide leaving the quarter pole, steadily gained, was up near the sixteenth pole and repelled a late challenge under left-handed urging. LIGHTS OF BROADWAY hopped at the start, raced off the pace three and four wide, closed outside and just missed. GRAND DAVID bumped at the start, raced off the pace two wide, bid three wide around the far turn, took the lead near the five-sixteenths pole, led to the sixteenth marker and held third. PEOPLE FORCE set the pace in the two path, yielded near the five-sixteenths marker and kept on for a minor share. JERRY'S TURN chased the pace three wide and lacked the needed rally. THETHRILLOFVICTORY bumped at the start, chased the pace in the two path and faded through the stretch. MR SCATTER trailed throughout.
