Chart notes
WAR SONG pressed the pace from two wide then took the lead near the quarter pole and drew clear. PRIZELESS stalked the pace from four wide down the backstretch then tipped in to three wide around the turn to be second best. SLITHER raced off the pace while saving ground through the turn then moved out to three wide a the eighth pole for a late rally to be up for the show. SATURDAY'S GOLD rushed to a pressured lead from the inside to the quarter pole then was headed, kept on to the top of the stretch but tired. DOUBLE BARREL MAN showed no early speed, saved ground around the turn and made a late run to improve position. SPARKIN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside then moved out to four wide in upper stretch but lacked the late response. BACK BAYOU showed good early speed to the three furlong marker and gave way. TRUVY'S BANDIT broke outward leaving the gate and bumped foe to trail in the early stages, but remained back throughout.
