Chart notes
DISCREET DEAL sprinted to a clear lead to set all the pace and proved best. MIDNIGHT CIGARETTE raced in the middle of the pack, moved up from three wide around the turn to have the late run to be second best. MISS GYPSY was void of the early speed then circled the field to make the late rally to be up for the show. E R'S MIREYA prompted the pace from two wide to the top of the stretch and tired. DOLLY'S HARBOR raced in the middle of the pack but fell back in upper stretch and made a rebid to improve position. C. F. TINNY DEAL passed tiring rivals. AMELIES DREAMER was forwardly placed on the inside to the three furlong marker and gave way. LA CANTAROS was hustled along the rail early then angled out to three wide at the three furlong marker but faltered.
