Chart notes
OUR ETHAN CHARLES was rated along and three wide on the turn, made a bid leaving the turn and went on even terms by the furlong marker and drew off to prove much the best under a mild drive. TAPORICAL was settled back early, inside to two wide on the turn, angled out in the drive and rallied well to finish on even terms for the place award. TOWN KISSER was settled early, three to four wide on the turn, came five wide off the turn and rallied well on the far outside to finish on even terms for the place award. PHOTO HOP was settled early, two to three path on the turn and lacked the needed winning bid. JIGGERY POKERY set the pace on the inside and shook away on the turn to be clear by the quarter pole, but was headed by the furlong marker and weakened. MUSIC BOX DANCER prompted the pace three to two wide and weakened. SECRET SATURDAY was settled early and saved ground on the turn and had no rally.
