Chart notes
CHIPOTLE pressed the pace on the outside, drew even with the leader coming to the five-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, shook clear under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop while still on his inside lead outside the furlong marker, drifted out some when switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole,. remained on his inside lead into the final sixteenth then swapped to the proper lead late and held under strong urging. TAPWRITS TEMPER bumped with a rival at the start, was hard ridden early then chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, pursued the winner on the outside in the stretch, gained gradually on that foe in the final furlong but missed while clear for the place. SOBIESKI bumped with a rival at the start, was well spotted down the backstretch, came under urging in the two path midway through the turn, shifted to the three path later on that bend, pursued the winner while remaining on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and weakened but was clear for the show. RUN OF THE HOUSE broke out and bumped with a foe, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead before the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back in upper stretch and tired. BRAVE BEAR broke awkwardly then bumped with a rival, was well placed just off the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the rail to the two path late on the turn, shifted to the three path into the stretch then moved out to the five path near the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response. ROBERT'S MOON bumped with rivals on both sides at the start then dropped back quickly, was urged along at the rear of the field, rounded the turn in the three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and was no factor.
