Chart notes
COURT JESTER was floated out by an inner rival and forced to bump an outer foe early on,, stalked along the inside, bid inside of the leader leaving the five sixteenths pole, forged an advantage from that drifting rival while shifting outwardly entering the final furlong and held sway. LE MONSTRE RAPIDE shifted out causing cramped quarters for multiple outer rivals early on, led narrowly from an outer vying rival while remaining a path off of the inside, dug in between horses as an inner rival bid turning for home, got headed by that one while drifting out entering the final furlong, then fought on after straightening course but was kept at bay. CAUSEWAY BENNY took contact from an inner rival leaving the gate, pursued from midpack in the four to three path around the first turn, moved between horses with a half mile to go, crept closer in the four path and between rivals turning for home, took aim outside of the top pair in upper stretch, but got herded outwardly by the drifting LE MONSTRE RAPIDE in midstretch, ran on late but needed more. GEM BUOY vied for the lead two wide while kept in the three path, then three wide around the far turn, yielded between horses nearing the lane, yet kept on willingly to maintain a minor share. WICKED SECRET was pinched and steadied back between horses early on, raced off of the pace in the three path, shifted out from the four to seven path in upper stretch and failed to factor. AVERY'S GEM was brushed with an inner rival early on, saved ground while pursuing from midpack, then chased up the rail and lacked a bid. BONS TEMPS ROULE checked out of crowded quarters between horses early on, trailed and got outrun. POPPA MAGIC bobbled slightly and bumped an outer rival at the start, tracked in the three to four path, chased in the five path around the far turn then weakened while shifting out entering the lane. THE RIDER OF CAUSEWAY BENNY CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST LE MONSTRE RAPIDE ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTION, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, LE MONSTRE RAPIDE WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED THIRD. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
