Chart notes
MISCHIEVOUS GAL broke well, with the pace inside, showed the way up the backstretch, dueled turn, edged away when straightened for home, held sway late under steady handling. PHAROAH'S HEART in the second flight while between horses, slowly closed the gap on the winner to that one's outside the final furlong while maintaining the place. DEALING JUSTICE away in good order, dueled outside the winner into and through the turn, fell back a bit off that one in upper stretch, gave ground grudgingly to that one and the runner up in the final furlong. ALWAYS ANGELS in the second group inside, in traffic with four furlongs remaining, idled along into and through much of the turn, covered up again entering the stretch, went evenly when clear. TAPITURE'S LADY off slow, moved up to race in mid pack in the run up the backstretch, fell back exiting the turn, improved a bit again while not a seriokus threat. CHANDANA lacked speed, moved closer four wide and widest turning for home, failed to sustain that advance in the drive. MY FRIEND AMY last to leave in breaking a beat slow, trailed for a half, picked off a couple of tiring rivals while never a threat. LOVER GIRL moved inside on the turn, backed up through the stretch. MIDSHIPMAN'S DANCE finished early.
