Chart notes
SWEET MAEVE was four wide into the first turn, stalked the pace three wide and went up to vie for command by the five eights marker and then took over at the nine sixteenths and shook clear in the two path on the turn, then drew out leaving the turn and then held sway late to prove best under a drive. JUST THE THING was well placed on the inside, then continued to track the leaders towards the inside on the far turn, then moved out leaving the furlong marker and closed fast late but was too late while being second best. UPTOWN CHARLY GIRL was rated along and made a three wide bid on the far turn but flattened out in the lane, bested rest. RAININGATTHEBEACH was settled early three to two wide, shifted out on the far turn and was five wide by the quarter pole, but had no punch while clearly besting the rest. SMILES FOR DAVID set the pace on the inside and dropped back on the far turn, angled out leaving the turn and improved position. PRACTICAL RACHEL was off slowly, then moved to the outside entering the backstretch, made a four wide move on the far turn to be in contention but tired. LAUGHING OUT LOUD was settled four wide and tired. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
