Chart notes
OSCAR GAZE , off the pace, angled out and was put to a ride leaving the far turn, circled four wide into the stretch, leveled off under solid asking near mid stretch, surged clear near the sixteenth pole and held firm. LADY DOMINANCE settled off the pace and towards the inside, advanced inside a rival then angled out past the five sixteenths, steadied when briefly stalled soon after, regrouped to edge up past mid stretch, shifted out late and kept on willingly to nab the place. DRILL'S VALENTINE , coaxed along behind the leaders past the five eighths, eased out and chased three wide outside rivals mid turn, moved up with pursuit leaving the furlong grounds, kept on with interest but was edged by an outer foe for second. WOODS HOLE took command well in hand and well off the inside early, tapered down to about the three path when joined by inner foes near the five eighths, spurted away under asking around the turn, shifted in towards the rail clinging to command in mid stretch then weakened through the final seventy yards. NUMERIC moved up and threatened between foes near the five eighths, tracked under asking as the leader cleared, was bumped and in a bit tight into the far turn, dropped back between horses near the quarter pole, shifted out for a clear run in upper stretch then had some late life. SET THE PACE attended the pace inside foes nearing the five eighths, was bumped and in close into the far turn, regrouped to chase while saving ground nearing the lane and weakened. AUBURN drafted in to about the four path to prompt outside foes leaving the five eighths, moved up with closest pursuit of the leader leaving the far turn, chased to the quarter pole then succumbed.
