RELATIVE VALUE (GB) rated in the clear and not too far back early on, pulled his way forward past the half, bid three deep approaching the quarter pole, dueled then took a short lead between runners a furlong out, briefly spurted clear under right handed asks near the sixteenth pole then dug under steady handling to deny an outer GONCORA (GB) through the final yards. GONCORA (GB) broke a bit slow then was bumped and taken up sharply in the opening furlong, regrouped to settle off the pace and off the inside, commenced a run leaving the far turn, circled four wide and joined the leaders into the stretch, dug in as the leader cleared about a sixteenth out and came back on in gritty fashion only to be kept at bay. SKY MASTERSON , four wide early, stalked under firm rating about three wide through the backstretch run, took over in hand and between horses nearing the stretch, dueled to the inside of foes past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly in the final seventy yards. MISCHIEVOUS HAN rated off the pace while saving ground, was stalled while boxed in around the far turn, worked outward for the drive and churned on. IRON THE MONEY was pinballed around at the break then bumped again and checked through the opening furlong, regrouped, chased three wide then between foes near the five sixteenths, shifted out four wide for the drive but came up empty. SERENDIBITE , jostled at the start, was bumped around when shuffled in the opening furlong, waited near the three eighths, angled out and came up empty. HIGHLAND TIGER , bumped with an inner foe early on, lost ground four wide and failed to menace. CHANNELSIDE , bumped at the start, was bumped again when caught in close quarters nearing the end of the chute, saved ground and failed to menace. MR MILES broke outward bumping a rival, tightened rivals when a bit keen and angling outward nearing the end of the chute, cleared off to set the pace towards the inside, met outer pressure around the final turn, stayed on to the head of the lane then faltered. EMPEROR D'ORO cleared early then took back off of a MR MILES, stalked inside and weakened in upper stretch.
