Chart notes
BERLAINE set the pace along the inside, built a clear margin into the far turn, drew off under mild urging and was geared down late. PAT HAND GIRL hopped slightly and landed in tight quarters between horses, trailed in the three to four path around the first turn, gained ground in teh five path and outside of rivals around the turn, tipped inwardly to the two path to sustain progress entering the lane and reached place leaving the furlong grounds. START SINGING pressed the eventual winner from the three path, chased around the far turn and faded yet lasted for show. MISS DISTINCTIVE tracked in the five to three path around the first turn, chased around the far turn, lacked a bid and saved fourth. CRYSTAL D'ORO lacked speed in the four to three path early on, then in the five path around the far turn and moved up to miss fourth at the wire. PASTA SALAD RHONDA laid off of the pace along the inside, then two wide and between horses around the far turn and failed to menace. BIRDIE CALL broke outwardly, stalked in the four path, chased down the backstretch and faded in the five to seven path turning for home. XCARET brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, checked to tuck behind rivals entering the first turn, laid well back along the inside, swung out to the five to six path in upper stretch and made little impact. LAYLA'S SONG pursued two wide and failed to factor before tiring. APRIL'S GEM brushed with an inner foe at the start, tracked while tucking from the three path to the inside around the first turn, then weakened around the far turn.
