Chart notes
TIZ ROMANTIC laid up close in the three path early, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, and kicked on to edge past the inner pacesetter late. AMERICAN SPEED set the pace in the three path, went clear down the backstretch, waited confidently rounding the far turn, was cued turning into the stretch, and stayed on, but was caught by an outer foe late. HOT BLOODED tracked in the three path, was coaxed midway around the far turn, floated out to the eight path at the top of the lane, and ran on. MUTAAWID trailed in the four path and made no impact in the eight path down the stretch. BE LIKE CLINT bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated in the three path but did not factor from the five path in the stretch. CHAPLIN bumped with an inner foe at the start, raced off the pace in the two path and never threatened. SALVATTORE PRINCE laid in range in the two path early but weakened. PER RULING ECM2025-02/EAD FROM HIWU, AMERICAN SPEED WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
