Chart notes
J. P. RACE broke back, lacked speed, moved closer along the inside after a half, challenged on the rail second turn, clear into the lane, kept clear while under steady handling. FIFTY CENT DOLLARS pinched back at the start, lacked speed, closer late backstretch in traffic, shuffled back to trail into the far turn, continued behind traffic into the stretch, shifted out widest, late surge to be up for the place. GASOLINE in the main body while racing four wide through most of the first turn, continued outside up the backstretch, moved closer five wide through the second bend, outkicked for the place late. RINGSIDE broke back, void of speed, advanced into contention six wide turning for home reached closest to the winner with a furlong to run, flattened out from between horses late to lose the place. UNSTABLE PRINCE one paced early while just off the inside, moved out and was four wide through the second bend, in some traffic upper stretch, angled in a bit for room to improved slightly then went evenly late in lacking a closing punch. TIWANAKU in the second flight on the outside first turn, remained forwardly placed, four wide through the second bend, weakened in the drive.
