Chart notes
LAST ELIZABETHAN stalked from inside, moved to the two path and chased between rivals at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped out and bumped in upper stretch, bid three deep at the eighth pole, then took over approaching the sixteenth pole and drove clear. FIRE BAN traveled two wide towards the rear early, asked three then four wide on the far turn, moved out in the lane and put in a mild late bid to close the gap on the winner and pick up the place honors. HOLLY GOQUICKLY (FR) reserved two wide then along the rail, moved out and drew closer in the middle stages, bid three deep on the far turn, bumped with the winner in upper stretch, flattened in deep stretch but managed to save third. HAPPYASACLAM (IRE) antsy in the gate, unhurried along the inside, chased two wide at the quarter pole, kept trying through the lane and missed third. NAKOTA (IRE) found the rail trailing early, saved ground at the back to the stretch, tipped out at the top of the lane, lacked room and checked at the eighth pole, then showed late run but was unable to threaten. RICH OF JOY forwardly placed in the two path, bid outside the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, took over in upper stretch, lost command outside the sixteenth pole and weakened late. GHOSTESS raced out of range three then two wide early, traveled two then three wide on the second bend and failed to produce a bid. DAY DAWNING sprinted to the front, led three wide into the first turn, cleared inner rival while moving into the two path around the bend, controlled the pace in hand up the backstretch and found the rail, challenged at the five-sixteenths pole, clung to a short lead over a pair of rivals entering the lane, yielded in upper stretch and gave way. PARADE DOWN BROAD raced up close inside the leader early, ceded command while racing a bit green on the clubhouse turn, stalked the pacesetter up the backstretch, lost ground when racing greenly along the fence on the far turn and faded in the lane.
