Chart notes
K R POWER STORM pressed the pace, came around the turn on the inside, angled to the outside, made a late bid and proved the best at the wire. PATEK pressed the pace, raced close throughout, took the lead down the stretch, drove clear, but couldn't hold off the winner late. MAJESTIC PALACE raced near the back in the beginning, moved up on the inside around the turn, swung to the outside, made a wide bid and got up for show. MR. RONNIE lacked early speed, gained ground late and was outfinished for third. SALT SPRAY (IRE) went to the front, drove clear and weakened. VOYANT raced near the middle of the field, came around the turn on the outside, finished wide and lacked a late kick. MR. TEXAS CHARM raced within striking distance, faded and was no threat late. NATURAL HIGH raced in the middle of the pack and dropped back. SUPERHERO reared at the start, was left at the post and was never close.
