Chart notes
CAJUN VENOM prompted the pace under rating outside RUNNING BAYOU, was joined from his outside near the half then sparred between rivals under asking around the turn, held a slim lead under left handed encouragement in mid stretch then dug in late to deny an outer LOU MAN. LOU MAN rated off foes soon after the break then steadied briefly, pulled his way forward between rivals then angled out to join the pace fray three deep near the half, battled outside rivals around the turn, wandered outward a bit and gave up some ground to the leaders entering the stretch, corrected with right handed asks past the three sixteenths, had his rider switch over to left handed crop work then came back gamely through the final furlong. RUNNING BAYOU broke a step slow, recovered and eagerly moved up between runners to take over leaving the chute, was shadowed by the winner leaving the five eighths then was caught inside a pair dueling around the turn, stayed on gamely to contest the issue past mid stretch then faded late. GOD WITH US , a bit reluctant to load, edged up in hand outside foes leaving the chute and stalked the early pace five wide, dropped in some to pursue the embattled leaders while outside a foe around the turn, chased three wide in upper stretch, shifted in some but lacked a solid finish. METOLIO showed speed, chased off the inside, was under pressure past the five sixteenths and came up empty. WOCKA WOCKA , off a bit slow, lagged well back into and around the turn, raced three wide into the stretch, shifted out and got past tired foes. HE'S SIDE EYED saved ground chasing the duelers and faded through the drive. PARTY HARDY , towards the inside under some early rating, was under a ride mid turn, eased out and weakened.
