MAMBA ON THREE broke outward brushing a rival, corrected, sped up and vied inside rivals, emerged in battle to the inside of IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK around the turn, responded and shook clear entering the lane, was guided off the inside then held firm while kept to a drive. FLOAT ON , well placed stalking the duelers while saving ground, continued inside for the drive edged up in mid stretch and kept on with good effort. IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK , three deep disputing the early pace, held a slim lead vying past the three eighths, stayed on to pursue after the winner cleared in upper stretch, continued willingly past mid stretch then came up empty in the final seventy yards. ASTRONAUT OSCAR had speed then rated back off the leaders nearing the half, worked between runners mid turn, swung six wide for the drive then closed steadily while drifting out some late. TRIPULANTE , close up three wide between runners nearing the turn, chased outside a rival nearing the lane but failed to kick on in the final furlong. AWESOME PRINCE , brushed and in close at the break, saved ground, slipped through in mid stretch but needed more late. EBBEN , off the pace three to five wide, shifted six wide into the stretch and offered a mild kick. BANDITOFTHEPRAIRIE , off the pace, saved ground into the stretch, angled out past mid stretch but failed to make an impact. WHISTLEWHILEYOUMOW , four wide outside foes, faded. MONEY SONG , very wide, was not a factor. CHAMPAGNEONME hopped up when a bit rank at the break, steadied soon after, raced well back around the turn, saved ground through the drive and failed to menace. SOVEREIGN OF SPEED had speed to contest the early pace between foes, was shuffled back into the turn and weakened.
