Chart notes
PINFIRE dueled for the lead two wide, drew clear under a drive in upper stretch and was geared down in the final sixteenth. TOSCANO broke a step slow and was bumped by an outer rival at the start, raced at the rear along the inside, shifted out to the six path in midstretch and ran on to gain place late. CONCENTRATION saved ground off of the pace, shifted out to the three to four path in upper stretch, chased to gain place at the sixteenth pole but was bested by an outer bidder for that position late. MAHONEY ROAD tracked the top pair from the four to five path around the turn, drifted to the six path into the lane, got floated wider in midstretch and lacked a bid. TWO TONS OF FUN leaned inwardly and bumped a rival at the start, raced at the rear two wide and got outrun. GAMBE FORTE brushed with an inner rival soon after the start, dueled inside of the eventual winner into and around the turn, but proved no match for that one in upper stretch and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
