Chart notes
OMAR COMIN tracked the pace to the far turn, was checked briefly midway on the turn when rallying in tight quarters, taken up to angle six wide to the clear turning for home and closed well to take command and be going away late. SAMMY AND SHORTY stalked the pace down the backstretch, rallied to challenge on the final turn, took a brief lead turning for home and kept-on willingly through the stretch. COUNTEVERYBLESSING slow early to be at the rear of the field, gained gound down the backside, rallied leaving the five-sixteenths pole, angled six wide turning for home, drifted in bumping CASUAL ATTIRE, causing that one to crowd several rivals to his inside creating a pinball effect in upper stretch and rallied on through the lane to just miss the show. CASUAL ATTIRE reserved off the pace for the first half, gained ground through the far turn, rallied turning for home, was bumped by outside rival and pushed to the inside impeding several rivals in upper stretch, was gathered together splitting rivals late to just miss the place. TIER ONE raced along the rail near the rear of the field to the final bend, rallied up the inside cutting the corner, was bumped and checked hard in upper stretch by CONTROLLER who had been crowded from the outside, regained stride and closed belatedly. CAVENDISH set a pressured pace to midway on the far turn and weakened coming home. MAGICAL MONARCH failed to menace. CONTROLLER pressed the pace to the far turn, was surrounded turning for home when the closers were to his inside and outside, bumped rival to his inside when crowded down toward the rail by COUNTEVERYBLESSING who had set off a chan reaction in upper stretch and dropped to the rear of the field after exchanging bumps. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND THE RIDER OF CASUAL ATTIRE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST COUNTEVERYBLESSING AND THE RIDER OF TIER ONE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST CONTROLLER FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE LANE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED COUNTEVERYBLESSING AND PLACED HIM LAST.
