Chart notes
COCKTAIL PRINCESS gained the lead outside horses leaving the backstretch, stayed well off the rail on the turn and was under encouragement in the drive. HEAVENLY VIOLET , three deep chasing the winner around the turn, rallied. DADDY CLASSY DILL stay in the two path around the turn while chasing the winner and flattened out. GOOD LIQUOR broke alertly, remained along the inner rail, chased the pace and weakened. SALLY STANFORD stayed near the inner rail around the turn and failed to menace in an even effort. HAUGHTY KITTY , outrun, was very wide leaving the turn. QUEEN MYSTIC raced in the three path on the turn and was not a factor.
