Chart notes
COLT FICTION content to track the early pace, bid for the lead from the quarter pole, took command in mid-stretch won clear. HERO TIME tracked two deep, advanced closer through the turn then closed strongly to get the place. SUITABLE pressed to the outside of PLAY RULE through the early stages, was unable to vanquish that foe in upper stretch but kept top task and was able to gain third near the wire. PLAY RULE broke sharply and easily made the lead without being sent, was being pressed by SUITABLE through the turn, maintained the lead into the stretch then gave way in the final furlong. SR. BI BI veered in and nearly struck the inside rail a few strides out of the gate, kept to the inside through the turn but chased throughout. UNION DATA lacked early speed and raced well behind the pacesetter early, was unable to improve on the turn while racing three wide then hand little to offer in the stretch.
