Chart notes
LA JOLLA BEACH bumped with the horse to her outside at the start, raced off the pace on the rail up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the turn, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late to get up for the win. FOR THE GRAM led the way through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the two path and dug in gamely in the lane, dueling to the wire but was caught late. POP'S PARTY stalked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and dueled to the finish to narrowly miss. SALSA AMERICANA bumped with horse to her inside leaving the gate, raced into traffic in the middle of the pack early, steadying slightly headed into the turn, continued to save ground from there and finished evenly. SAPELLO STREAKER raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the four path and never threatened. ON THE TOE ROAD was away from the gate slowly, switched outside and moved up to track the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path and faded in the stretch. LUCKY SHOT ANNIE chased the leader between horses through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the three path and tired in the lane. STORMY RYTHM raced in the middle of the pack on the outside backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and was empty in the stretch.
