Chart notes
MASTERWORK was off a step slow, angled in while settling off the pace, saved ground while roused on the turn, moved out in upper stretch, rallied outside to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then went clear under good handling to prevail. MAJESTIC ARC went to the front then set the pace under pressure, vied inside while on a solo lead on the turn, spun off the rail into upper stretch, led under a drive until outside the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken but just held the place. KING FREUD pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, chased in the two path on the turn, floated out to the four path into upper stretch, pursued the leader in the drive and finished willingly to just miss the place while able to get the show. YORK TAVERN broke a half-step slow, was coaxed along on the far outside, chased in the four path on the turn, was carried out to the six path into upper stretch, kept on in pursuit of the leader in the stretch and also finished willingly but missed the show. CONNIVING was coaxed along off the pace, dropped back in the two path on the turn and lacked the needed response. ALWAYS A WARRIOR chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, was carried out to the five path into upper stretch and tired.
