Chart notes
HIGH CEILING vied for the lead with an outer rival while remaining a path off of the inside, disposed of that one as a wider rival offered a bid with five sixteenths to go, repelled that foe and shook free at the furlong grounds, then held sway under a drive. DIAMOND EYED JACK staked along the inside, chased close up around the far turn, swung out to the five path entering the lane and ran on to gain place with a sixteenth to go. DATE THE PRINCE saved ground off of the pace and stayed on to edge show late. LURED AWAY laid off of the pace in the four path, ranged up to bid outside of the leader at the five sixteenths pole, dueled through upper stretch but yielded between rivals in the final furlong. RAGNOW pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses, but gave way. SOMEKINDA MISCHIEF vied for the lead with an inner rival while kept in the three path, but weakened between horses approaching the five sixteenths pole.
