Chart notes
NORMANDY COAST tracked the top pair from the four path, bid three deep entering the lane, wrestled an advantage in the three path entering upper stretch, then gamely held between bidders in the final furlong. LIL MUGGS tracked two wide and between horses, awaited racing room among foes turning for home, shifted four wide in upper stretch, sustained gradualy progress while hanging on his let lead to offer a bid in the final furlong, vied late but missed. HAY JUDE stalked along the inside, encountered traffic behind rivals entering upper stretch, tipped out to the three path and between rivals passing the three sixteenths pole, moved back in to take aim inside of the leader in the final furlong, offered a bid but was kept at bay. THRILLA hopped when the gates sprung, bumped the gate and broke many lengths behind the rest, lagged behind along the inside, rejoined the group after swinging out to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied to gain fourth late. BIG RASEE led narrowly from an outer prompter while taking the turn in the two path, floated inwardly as an wider rival bid entering the lane, got headed in upper stretch, kept on into the final furlong but faded through the final sixteenth. COMPLEX MUSIC laid off of the pace in the two path, moved out to the five path in upper stretch and failed to factor. FACE THE FUTURE prompted outside of the leader and from the three path, vied around the turn, sparred between rivals while tucking to the two path entering the lane and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
