Chart notes
EDDIE THE GREAT settled off the early pace, given cue four to five wide entering the upper stretch, responded willingly, rallied along the outside and got up in time. A WESTERN YARN tracked the top pair through the backstretch, moved up three wide near the quarter pole, cleared the lead in upper stretch then got denied in closing strides. POLICY OPTION rated through early stages, saved ground around the final turn, angled three wide for the drive and secured a share. DENYING tracked the pace, gained along the inside near the quarter pole, raced in aim at the head of the lane then flattened in the final furlong. JUSTINTIMEFORWINE set the pace through the backstretch, held a slim lead around the final turn, got collared in the upper stretch and weakened. YOU TALKIN TO ME sat off the clear trio in early stages, hustled along three to four wide at the head of the lane and lacked the needed kick for impact. MISSION KEY raced off the pace, saved ground around the final turn and failed to rally. FATIMA'S BLESSING raced in the back through early stages, hustled along two wide into upper stretch, angled three to four wide and made no headway. FROSTY THE SOLDIER raced three wide in range around the first turn, continued to track through the backstretch then steadily weakened and raced wide turning for home. HARPOON HARRY stalked the leader through the backstretch, raced in aim for the lead near the quarter pole then tired in the drive.
