Chart notes
OWEN ALMIGHTY vied for the early lead three deep, came in near the three eighths pole, bumped and forced Rookie Card to take up sharply, a stewards inquiry was filed and ruled Own Almighty to be disqualified and placed fifth behind Rookie Card. NAUGHTY RASCAL tracked the early pace from the outside, dug in deep stretch and finished gamely to the wire. VERY BOLD void of early speed, two deep through the far turn, was four wide into the upper stretch and was even late with no final bid. COCKEYED raced mid pack early, had an inside run throughout and needed more. ROOKIE CARD vied for the early lead from the inside, bumped, forced to check sharply near the three eighths pole and tired thereafter. JUAN COLORADO settled off the early pace, five wide into the upper stretch and lacked a bid.
