Chart notes
WHITING FIELD bumped with an outer foe at the start, prompted the pace in the three path, bid in the two path midway around the far turn, was cued while tipping out to the three path at the top of the lane, dueled with the inner pacesetter into the final furlong, inched ahead late, and held on. DIXIE PREACH rated inside, angled out midway around the far turn, was coaxed passing the quarter, floated out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and ran on, but just missed. STAR OF THE BEAST set the pace in the two path, was ridden from the rail around the far turn, dug in from the two path while dueling with an outer foe down the lane, but was edged out by an outer pair late. MORAL AGENCY bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the two path, was ridden in the four path around the far turn, fanned out to the six path at the top of the lane, but made no impact. KUWAIT TOWERS laid in range in the four path but faded in the stretch. GIOVANNINO stalked in the four path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, but weakened. ATOMICO chased in the three path but did not threaten. GROWTH MINDSET tracked in the two path but gaveway in the stretch.
