Chart notes
OILER unhurried early, closed willingly three wide through the stretch under left handed urging in a perfectly timed trip and was along in time. SOUPER FORTUNE chased the early pace, rallied two wide to make the lead near the middle of the second bend, shook clear before the quarter pole then couldn't handle the winner. SMASH was hustled to a clear lead soon after the start, widened before a half, gave up the lead on the far turn, came on again gamely along the inside through the stretch but was outfinished in the final stages. MILLARD'S SMILE trailed. THE RIDER OF SOUPER FORTUNE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
