WHAT DOES IT TAKE forced the pace outside, vied through the final turn then edged clear through the stretch under steady urging. OPTIC WAY saved ground close up, angled out in the stretch and was up for the place. TYCOON set the pace inside, dueled through the final turn then weakened in the stretch. SIMOVITCH pulled wide to contention for half a mile, asked for run on the final turn but had no response. NIFTY chased off the leaders inside and failed to rally. JARDANI lagged far behind and trailed throughout. RERALLY injured himself in the starting gate and was ordered a late scratch.
