Chart notes
HAPPY SUNDAY tracked in the four path, lost ground from the three path rounding the turn, swung out to the six path turning into the lane, rallied into the final furlong, and drew clear of inner foes in the closing stages. RANCHO VISTA bobbled at the start, set the pace in the three path, was coaxed along in the two path around the turn, drew clear from the three path while on her left lead in upper stretch, but drifted out in the final furlong, and was caught by an outer foe in the closing stages. PRINCESS CLAUDIA raced wellback in the four path, was driven around the turn, swung from the six path into the lane, and ran on between foes for show. CANDY AND WINE broke in and bumped an inner foe, prompted the pace in the five path, was coaxed along in the three path rounding the turn, floated back out to the five path turning into the stretch, but was one paced. CICATRIZ bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced up close in the two path, was ridden along the inside around the turn, tipped out to the four path entering the lane, but flattened in the final furlong. DADDY'S QUEEN got bumped hard between foes and had to check at the start, raced off the pace in the two path and did not threaten. DAWN'S MIST chased in the six path but never menaced.
