Chart notes
VILLAGE CAT broke alertly and assumed command before a quarter mile, set the balance of the pace and winded through the stretch under a strong hand ride to win as much the best. CHLOES ANGEL stalked the early pace, offered a mild bid two wide midway on the turn then was no match for the winner while clearly second best. CITY SIGNS moved up four wide on the turn then failed to sustain that bid. GAIL'S DANCER trailed into the stretch then passed tiring rivals in the six path. MERE BAG OF SHELLS had a brief early lead, pressured the winner into the stretch then faded in the final furlong. BISCAYNE BAY had brief speed. BAY MAGIC shifted eight wide soon after the start, improved position on the turn then came up empty. LADY ABRIL failed to menace.
