THEISMANN bore in, tardy start, no speed to turn, rolled up outside into the stretch, kept on in the drive and cleared off under stout handling to the wire. THUNDER APPEAL inside speed to press pace to stretch, outkicked to the wire. HOLSTER two path duel to turn battled stretch could not go on and faded. OBELISK off rail run to quarter pole and only improved position late. SHORTSTOP good position early, rolled up outside past the quarter pole looking like a major danger but flattened out in the drive. TIMETOMAKEMISCHIEF could not keep up while evenly through the stretch run. GENO'S MYTH good position to turn with nothing left in the stretch run. HALFWAY JOKING had an awkward start with no speed and never menaced throughout. FINISH TIME CHANGED DUE TO FINISH BEAMS MALFUNCTION.
