Chart notes
ADIEU ACES vied for the early lead, took command around the turn, drove clear down the lane, came in down the stretch and proved the best. SPEIGHTFUL ONE shot to the front, saved ground around the turn, steadied down the lane, getting tight on the rail, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. MAGAWILDTIME lacked early speed, came around the turn on the outside, made a wide bid, proved no match for the top two, but got up for third. WILD BERT raced near the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn and got got late for third. TRUVY'S BANDIT always raced near the back and showed little. FLOWER CAT pressed the early pace, dropped back and was outrun. THE JOCKEY OF #1 SPEIGHTFUL ONE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #5 ADIEU ACES FOR INTERFERENCE IN LATE STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
