Chart notes
BEHEMAH STAR showed the way along the inside and held sway. HIGHLAND CREEK bumped an outer rival leaving the gate, stalked along the inside, tipped to take aim outside of the leader entering the final furlong, but drifted out subtly, lacked the needed punch to offer a bid and held place. BENOIT took contact from an inner rival at the start, pressed the winner from the three path, but lost place to an inner foe while chasing in the four path into the final furlong and kept on. WOODS N WATER lacked speed along the inside and failed to factor. SONYA KNOWS BETTER pursued from the three path and made little impact.
