Chart notes
NOTTURNO set the pace in the three path, repelled bids near the quarter pole and inched clear under a drive. MIDNIGHT VENGEANCE had his head turned and bobbled at the start, stalked the pace four wide, bid between foes near the quarter pole, could not quite match strides with the winner in the lane but kept on to be second best. BUZZ ROCKET was devoid of speed, advanced in the four path around the turn, angled seven wide nearing the quarter pole and had a mild stretch rally for the show. GAIN chased the pace from the rail and lacked the needed rally. HE'S A DAREDEVIL had early speed two wide and weakened through the stretch. MUSTANG BAY raced off the early pace outside, advanced five wide around the turn, reached near even terms near the quarter pole but came up empty in the lane. LOVE HATE pressed the winner down the backstretch and retreated in the three path around the turn.
