ALI'S HANNAH off to a slow start, unhurried and off the pace into the far turn, forged her way into contention along the rail leaving the quarter pole, with momentum on her side shifted out six wide into the lane, full of run and racing on the wrong lead reeled in the leader in the final jumps. IN RETROSPECT broke a step behind the field, advanced down the back side four wide, took over leaving the furlong marker, held clear into the final sixteenth, caught in the final jumps, second best. JUNE BELLE raced well back off the pace into the far turn, quicken to circle the field four deep leaving the quarter pole, bumped inside rival in upper stretch, fought on outside foe, up late for the show. FUNNY SHE FIRED ME tracked the pace from along the inside around the first turn and then down the backside, lost momentum when steadied leaving the quarter pole, angled out and regrouped for the stretch run, bumped with JUNE BELLE in upper stretch, fought inside that rival to wire, stayed on and lost the show under the line. DAWN'S CREED off to quick start, set a modest solo tempo into the far turn, lost action leaving the quarter pole, and weakened through the lane. EIGHT OZ MOCHA tracked the leader from between around the first turn, saved ground off the pace leaving the quarter pole, came up empty. NEED A MIRACLE broke clean from outside post, tracked the leader three wide around the first and down the back stretch, gave way through the lane. BELLAFLEET rank inside the gate, tossed the rider prestart, trailed into backside, eased and walked off.
