Chart notes
RIDE THE RAPIDS opened clear to dictate terms, remained unchallenged and drew away to score as the rider pleased. MADE BIRDIE settled in hand toward the inside, got through and was just up to earn the runner up spot. PEACE FIRE was nearest the pace to the stretch while no match, weakened some in the final furlong and settled for the minor award. SHERIFF'S KID was unhurried off of the rail, came three wide and improved position. TRUE BLUE PEARL brushed the gate, was away a step slow, rushed to contention four wide, but came up empty on the second turn and faded. CROSSTOWN GIRL saved ground to no avail. SIX THE HARD WAY was allowed to settle early, moved up some on the backstretch four wide, but faltered on the second turn and dropped out.
