Chart notes
EL DAN raced within striking distance in the middle of the pack, moved up on the inside around the turn, swung to the outside, made a stretch bid, racing four wide and proved the best late. ROMEO SPIKES lacked early speed, moved up between rivals around the turn, angled to the rail, made a bid, but couldn't match strides with the winner. NATIVE RED vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, but lacked a late kick. HOLD MY HAT dueled on the front end, saved ground around the turn and weakened. HES THE BOMB TOO challenged for the early advantage, came around the turn on the outside and was finished early. BELLA'S BOSS raced within contention, faded and finished evenly near the back. ONEMOTIME lacked early speed and was never close. CHIEF SLEW always raced near the back and showed little.
